Yes, that's right, you are reading it proper "yoga in bed" who would have thought. That Sunday habit, add this to the list before you get out of bed. Sometimes I feel lazy, and doing something is better than doing nothing. Take the habit throughout your week if you like how you feel after making a few simple energizing moves.
Follow these sequences of moves before bed to relax your mind and ease muscle tension or wake up your muscles. Move pillows that will get in the way unless you need a few to support a body part. I always have one under my right leg, just under my butt cheeks, and one between my knees.

YOGA MOVES UNDER THE COVERS
#1 Butterfly (ankle pose)
#2 Laying Flamingo (spinal twist pose)
#3 knee Tuck (chest pose)
#4 Bridge Pose
#5 Scorpion
YOGA MOVES ON TOP OF THE COVERS
#1 Left Side Pigeon
#2 Right Side Pigeon
#3 Toe Reach
#4 Sitting Butterfly
#5 Hanging Pigeon
UPPER BODY MOBILITY
#1 Sit and Meditate for a few minutes
#2 Long Arm Stretch (reaching up and over)
#3 Short Arm Stretch (bend at the elbow and overhead)
#4 Body Twist
#5 Sitting Cat & Cow
#6 back-flying
Let this be the first part of moving your body, even if this is the first thing you are starting to do as a form of exercise. It's a great place to start, and you will still see results. Do this for 30 days, challenge yourself, or every night. I have a few moves you can add if you want to do bedtime ones.
BEDTIME YOGA- Pull the covers back but don't get in yet!
#1 Standing Bedside Pigeon (both sides)
#2 Kneeling pray pose
I hope you enjoy these simple moves. Remember, something is better than nothing.
