The Classic Chicken Noodle Soup in our house but without the "chicken." This soup is perfect if you are feeling cold, coming down with a sickness, or want something warm in your stomach. Oh! Also, maybe your GI tract is feeling off, and you need something easy on the gut. It takes about 20 minutes to make it easy!
Ingredients
6 cups of Vegetable Broth (Low Sodium)
2 Organic Carrots
2 Organic Celery Sticks
1 Cup Gluten Free Bow Tie Pasta
The spices I use are:
Herb and Garlic from Epicure
Dried Thyme, Sage and Basil from my Garden
Pink Himalayan Salt & Pepper
(measurements use everything to taste)
Bring the spices and vegetables to a boil and let boil until vegetables start to get soft. Then add in the Bow Tie Pasta, boil until pasta is done, and then you can enjoy. Use any pasta you want no rules here.
You can add chicken if you want. It's up to you; my daughter is a vegan, so I make it this way for her. Also, you can get the vegan broth, but you have to go to a specialty store to get it, and I didn't have any then. I used the vegetable broth; it tasted yummy and was easy to get at any grocery store.
