Lets do it together
Welcome to, It's a fight to be fit
For the past ten years, health and fitness have been my passion; many have seen me transform and ask me how I did it.
Well, if I told you most of it came from thought and a small percent came from action, you would be surprised. See if I broke down the time I spent in the gym or exercising on average; it's only an hour, maybe two in a day, and some days it may even be a half-hour. Add a few hours for eating, and the rest, about twenty hours, is all in mind.
How did I do it then? "I thought myself skinny" I fantasized about looking my best in a particular outfit and what it would feel like to have 20 pounds less on my body suit. It seems like a voodoo way of thinking, but the idea of thinking yourself skinny is compelling. The saying goes, "You are your Thoughts." Most who manifest their desires and wants in life do it by thinking about them first, feeling them, smelling them, and tasting them.
How I do it is that I would imagine myself in a way I wanted to look, which became my daily, hourly, and minute focus, not in a weird crazy way but in a desirable way. I would shop in the clothing sections for the clothing I wanted to see myself in, right down to the size. Spend my time in grocery stores and market stores that mainly offered healthy food options. I took it daily with the thoughts and desires I wanted to be.
So how do you start to go about this mindset change?
3,6,9,12 months, No! We only focus on the day presently. Selling your soul to the diet devils is what we want to avoid. He's around the corner listening to you. It will get complicated and messy when you tell the diet devil's your plan too soon and mention your plan too far ahead. They"ll get in the way plans, sending obstacles one after another and the diet devils are waiting to sabotage your goals, its their job. It's just the way it is. From here on in, it will be something in life you must embrace, that goes for anything, even success in business. Stay as present and keep your goals and plans to yourself, if you don't, well, we've heard from others and already know the consequences.
A tip going forward is to let the theory go that one day you don't have to focus on diet or exercise anymore. Accepting it, as part of your life will make for your life to be less complicated and less painful. It's part of your due diligence as a human, and it will constantly have to be considered in your daily routine.
MIND-BODY SOUL
These three areas will be our primary focus, starting with the mind.
MIND
Make it up, yes, make your mind up that you'll do this; you can't have one foot in and one foot out. It's all or nothing; If you can't decide, wait until you can. The first rule is acceptance.
BODY
Accept your body as it is now; don't speak badly about it or hate it. If you did or are, it will work against you. Pretend that everything you say to your body, it can hear you; because it can. What you put out to the universe, you'll get back.
SPIRIT
It's the part of you seeking meaning and purpose. Do you do things to enhance your energy or drain your energy? Every day you're either giving yourself power or taking it away. What you put into your mouth either helps and heals you or hurts and hardens you.
The big question now is, do you want to get to work?
