LETS TALK ABOUT WATER

This will be a simple blog, short and sweet.
Have you ever done intuitive eating than you will know what I am talking about.
Ok! So how much really are we to drink, we always here 5,6,7,8 glasses a day or to figure it out according to your weight.
Well here's what I have intuitively been doing and when I asked a number of health professionals I was bang on but I also did my own research and this made sense to me.
SO HERE IT IS
Drink when your thirsty, yep that's it. Who would have thought it would be that easy.
So now you can have a sigh of relief. No more guilty feeling for not drinking a ton of water throughout the day.
Here's what I read in my research why its important to drink only when your thirsty and not force yourself to drink more than you need.
DEHYDRATION yes you will take away the salts in your body and you will deplete your electrolytes.
So the next time you are feeling pressure from having to drink tons of water or follow a plan that requires you to drink glasses of water just remember and ask yourself what are the reasons and purpose of why you would be having to do so. Its not always in your best interest.
I have competed in a bodybuilding competition and this is a big thing most athletes do to deplete, I however didn't have to experience this. It can be very dangerous if not done right or another reason I had to drink forced water is if I had to get a ultrasound for my bladder.
So unless I was going through something where its required to do so than that's the only time I drank an abundance. I say if it makes sense intuitively to not, than don't.
Lastly if you don't like to drink your water, than EAT YOUR WATER!
