What a fun place to take a run or walk through the rainforest. If you have about 45 min or more, I say more because we stopped and explored, took photos and took our time; some use it as a place to get a workout in and run from the bottom to the top. It depends on how much energy you have. The elevation of the hill isn't that steep.
I would say taking a stroll through the rainforest won't waste your time.
On the trail, we saw people from seniors to middle age and children with their parents, running and walking. Teapot hill is excellent for everyone. You could take your horse for a walk through the trail if you're brave enough.
My daughter and I have made it a mission since moving to Vancouver in 2016 to climb as many mountains and hit all the trails, caves, bluffs and falls as we can, no matter what season. We found that each place has a uniqueness about it during certain times of the seasons. You have to pick which one you are in the mood for at the time.
We also always make it a mission to find an eatery or cafe to go for some eats afterwards. This makes for a great time well spent together all around.
LAKESIDE BEACH CLUB
After our hike, we went to a nearby place and got food. They also had a live band and a great bar. Lovely fireplace as well.
Carb load, we shared everything, and it was so tasty.
